About the event
Imagine walking miles in the cold or rain with no protection for your feet. For many of our homeless neighbors and veterans, this is a daily struggle that affects not just their comfort—but their health, safety, and dignity.
We’re currently raising $1,000 to purchase waterproof shoes for individuals experiencing homelessness at PADS of Lake County and for veterans served by the Midwest Veterans Closet. For many who are unhoused, wet and worn-out shoes are a painful daily reality—compromising their health, safety, and dignity. I’m inviting you to support this initiative by making a donation of $50, $75, $100, or any amount that feels right to you. Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing waterproof shoes and getting them into the hands of those who need them most.
